 mine is participating in a 8 country Learning Partnership of the EU Grundtvig Life Long Learning program on advancing the Grassroots Women's International Academy (www.GWIA.net) as a format to harvest and up-scale the informal learning and knowledge generated through Mother Centers. |  Participants from 11 countries have joined the mine campaign: "Mothers walk a Mile". The picture shows participants in Uganda. This campaign started in 2004 with the action day „Move the pram – move the world“ in an effort to raise awareness for the needs of parents and children in urban and rural environments. “Move the pram” holds the Guinness World Record for largest stroller walk. |
