Newsletter November 2011

Dear friends,
the darkest month of the year, November, is here. Time for litting up candles to remember those who passed away. On 6.November 2011 it has been already two years since Monika Jaeckel, the author of Mother Centre idea and the co-funder of our network, crossed a bridge to the other side. Read below about two gatherings on the occasion of her biography launching in Berlin and Stuttgart.
November brings also time for reflexions, looking back and forward. In this sense we have asked several women from our member countries to answer two questions:
1.) what is mine for you? 2.) what are your wishes for mine for 2012?
The first series of the answers you will find in this issue.
Enjoy reading,
Your mine

Dear friends,

this issue focuses on a wonderful atmosphere in our centres when celebrating our II. International Mother Centres Day on 10th Oct.2011. I would like to thank all of you, putting your energy, time and enthusiasm into organising the events.
Lori Slepian from National Association of Mother centres (the USA) shares impression is her feed-back: “We mothers need to celebrate the work we do in bringing up humanity. If we do that motherwork mindfully, consciously, generation after generation, we will be able to influence the evolving development of humankind. I trust in the maternal force.I think it is a God given tool that, with mothers working together, can bring about a less violent world and a higher functioning humanity.“

Enjoy reading and colourful autumn!
